Tony Givens’ final match an in-ring competitor will take place on Saturday, March 30 in Kingsport, TN at the Civic Auditorium as he teams with Chase Owens to take on Cruel Intentions (Chris Richards & Josh Cody)!
At our last event, Cruel Intentions along with manager John Hawkins and Chance Rizer attacked Tony Givens after the controversial conclusion to Richards & Cody’s match with the Cross Brothers.
However, There is an even deeper history involved in this match that will finally come to a head on March 30.
The rivalry between Givens and Cruel Intentions goes back almost two decades. All three started out in wrestling school and broke into the business together. Givens and a variety of partners have always stood in opposition to Richards and Cody.
Also, Tony Givens’ greatest antagonist, John Hawkins serves as Cruel Intentions manager. Their issues date back to all the way to 2005.
Tony Givens has enlisted the help of his best friend, New Japan Pro Wrestling star Chase Owens to settle the score. Givens and Owens will take on Cruel Intentions in what promises to be a fitting conclusion’s to Tony’s 17 year in ring journey… Unless John Hawkins Promotions has other ideas.
